Craniosacral
CST is a sensitive therapy that works with a natural stillness, allowing the body to restore its own balance and health. Intelligence expresses itself through the whole body, which expands and contracts in a rhythmic way; every cell knows to breathe, inhale and exhale within cycles.
CST is non-invasive and sensitive. It recognises and assists the connections between body, mind and emotions. It is a state of repose and acuity. The peaceful state created during a session allows these “bonds” to become fully integrated during and after sessions.
I was trained to Biodynamic CST, which has a strong foundation in biomechanical techniques, using the detailed knowledge of anatomy and physiology, elementary to CST integration.
Our bodies are fascinating and adjusting. Through feeling and sense, my curious “listening hands”, without intention, are allowing things to unfold, help your body realigns itself and orients to a natural reorganisation. There is no manipulation used.
A feeling that you have been heard in the truest sense of the word is a common experience during and after a CST session. CST is a holistic therapy and respects that restriction or imbalance can have many causes. This may be due to physical injury and/or emotional disturbance.
CST is widely used for the delicate systems of babies and children. Regular treatment can help to strengthen the child’s nervous system, improve sleep and nurture confidence and affability. Adult, elderly and special ones are most welcome.
Headaches or migraine, back and neck pain, tinnitus and jaw problems, digestive problems and stress-related issues…can be reduced as your body finds its natural balance. You do not have to be unwell to benefit from CST and many people have regular treatments simply to support health and well-being through the challenges of everyday life.
Craniosacral
The gentle nature of CST makes it an ideal choice in preparation for, during or after pregnancy. It can give relief from physical discomfort or anxiety and supports bonding between mother and baby.
Your baby would love the connection and would very likely move or even change position during the sessions.
CST is widely acknowledged as a gentle form of treatment for the delicate systems of babies and children. The birth process is of particular interest as the physical forces exerted on the baby during birth can create ‘holding patterns’ within the system which can remain into child and adulthood.
Shock can also be present in the system, contributing to sleeplessness and colic – releasing this can be transformative for both parent and baby, both of whom are included in treatment.
Many children benefit from CST for childhood ailments such as ear problems or asthma but increasingly for behavioural issues due to hyperactivity, autism, anxiety and over sensitivity.

Craniosacral (CST) and Reflexology (RX)
I combine the 2 therapies when it feels right and with your permission. The grounding of RX with the listening of the CST has deepened my emotional sensitivity to orient even better towards your body needs and search for resources.
You are Unique and the story of life events held within your body is Unique so your coping mechanism is yours and yours only.

Reflexology
Your feet are carrying you all your life and caring for them is one way to communicate with the entire body. By applying some pressure in different parts of the feet the circulation in the body itself will improve.
It can be very precise and you can be released from some specific conditions. It always surprised me how wonderful reflexology is for rebalancing your body.
It is suitable at all stages of pregnancy from preconception to after birth.
Your baby will love it, move/jump during the session and even could change position; so worth trying if your baby is back to back or in Breech position consequently avoiding the possibility of caesarean section.
Not only will the bonding with your baby improve but you would feel more in tune and well prepared for labour.
As I touch our feet in RX, I “know” what your body needs. Then I deepen the listening via the CST approach and we can achieve perfect balance, good grounding and better energy.
Equine
My recent workshop for the use of biodynamic Craniosacral with horses has confirmed how this therapy is so right for a dignified animal with such a wide perceptive field.
It has been a delight to sense the emotions of the horses and to be able to approach them. The response in their body attitudes was amazing and establishing a friendship with such a powerful animal is just incredible.
As we start to communicate, something between us is understood and suddenly the process starts.
“And here I am with the pony muzzle in my hand; we stay there together for sometime and I feel the emotions of the nurturing mare”
Craniosacral
I had horses in the past and had the great joy to ride in the countryside and on the beaches. But now that I have been practicing Craniosacral biodynamic for many years, I was able to approach the horses with a different king of respect.
Horses respond well to the respectful approach of the Craniosacral therapy and a range of issues, from illness and injury, can be very much improved.
